Weather Bar does not collect, store, or share any personal information or user data.
2) Data Collection
- No personal data is collected.
- No analytics, tracking, or profiling is performed.
- No cookies are set by the extension.
3) Permissions & How They Are Used
storage: Saves local preferences such as theme, units (C/F), and UI options. These values stay on the user's device.- Host permissions (
api.open-meteo.com,geocoding-api.open-meteo.com): Used solely to fetch weather and geocoding data required to display the forecast.
4) Third Parties
Weather data is retrieved from Open-Meteo APIs. The extension does not transmit any personal data to third parties.
5) Remote Resources
The extension may load icon styles (e.g., Font Awesome CSS) from a CDN for visual appearance only. No remote JavaScript is executed.
6) Children's Privacy
This extension does not target children and does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
7) Changes
We may update this policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date.
